Hesperantha Mrs Hegarty commonly known as Kaffir Lily is a clump forming, semi-evergreen perennial which has sword like, narrow green leaves. In the winter months of October and November the Hesperantha Mrs Hegarty will bloom almost erect stems with stunning cup shaped open flowers of a light pink colour which look beautiful and super bright! Can be planted in a variety of locations and when flowering will create a wonderful colour drift, suiting planting schemes and garden types.
Hesperantha Mrs Hegarty care
Plant in a sunny, warm area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. The location needs to be sheltered from strong, cold winds to prevent the elegant stems breaking. A good cut flower plant.
