Iris Ruffled Velvet care
Plant the Iris Ruffled Velvet in a sunny location with well drained, neutral to slightly acidic soils where it will thrive. When planting, plant in a shallow hole where the top of the rhizome is on the surface of the soil, which if in full sun can encourage flowers. In autumn prune any dead or damaged foliage with older flower stems cut down directly after flowering. High potash feed can help in spring, with division recommended every 3 or 4 years.
