Geranium Sanguineum Album, commonly known as Bloody Cranesbill is a trailing, herbaceous perennial which has mid green leaves, divided into lobes, becoming orange and red in autumn time. In the months of May and June it bears lovely, pure white flowers which are favourites with bees and wildlife.

Known to be a good weed suppressor and with rapid growth makes this Geranium a perfect plant for a range of gardens. Recommended planting locations include flower beds and flower borders, containers and ground level, low maintenance gardens.

Geranium Sanguineum Album care

Plant the Geranium Sanguineum Album in a sunny location of the garden, with moist, well drained soils. Known to cope well in almost any soil condition apart from waterlogged. In mid to late summer we would recommend to remove flowered stems and any foliage which is looking damaged, dead or tired. This will encourage a more vigorous healthy growth. To avoid congestion lift and divide in spring.
