Geranium Ann Folkard, commonly known as Cranesbill is a spreading, herbaceous perennial with light green, almost yellow, lobed leaves which are veined with black. In July through to October it blooms stunning saucer-shaped magenta/purple flowers around 4cm wide, creating stunning, vibrant colour.
Being low growing many will use this as under planting, ground cover, at the front of beds and borders and many planting schemes where the vibrant colours are loved!
Geranium Ann Folkard care
Plant the Geranium Ann Folkard in a sunny, partially shaded location of the garden with moist, well drained soils. Can cope in almost any soil type unless waterlogged. In autumn time it is recommended to lightly prune the perennial by removing the flower stems and older dying leaves to make way for new healthy growth.
