Fatsia Japonica Spiders Web, commonly known as Caster Oil plant is a lovely bushy, evergreen shrub with large dark green leaves and a wonderful white variegation often on the edges although can form splotches across the entire leaf, creating a truly stunning foliage colour. In September and October it produces clusters of white flowers and followed closely by dark black berries.

Suited for almost any garden, any planting scheme and any location although recommended to be planted in flower beds and borders, garden patios and even grown in containers where it can easily be moved if the weather gets cold.

Fatsia Japonica Spiders Web care

The Fatsia Japonica Spiders Web thrives in a sunny, partially shaded location with moist, well drained soils and is known to be easy to grow. Generally disease free and requiring minimal, if any pruning. In spring simply cut back any shoots which begin to misshape the plant from its natural shape. Protect from cold weather and any drying winds, so a sheltered position would be advisable.
