Cercis Canadensis Texas White, commonly known as ‘Texas Eastern Redbud’, is a charming deciduous tree known for its striking, white floral display and elegant form. This cultivar features clusters of delicate, white flowers that appear in early spring before the foliage emerges, creating a stunning contrast against the bare branches. The heart-shaped leaves are green and turn yellow in the autumn, adding seasonal interest. Plant the Cercis Canadensis Texas White in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. When young it is recommended that you plant this shrub in its final spot as it reacts poorly to transplanting. Generally easy to grow and low maintenance makes for a good choice with gardeners new and experienced. Simply remove dead and damaged branches in winter.
