This perennial makes a good choice for mat forming, ground cover in your garden, perfect for planting at the front of a border or bed for semi-evergreen interest, can also be planted on banks or slopes and in partial shade, meaning some people will plant under trees to keep the coverage colourful and attractive.
Ajuga Catlins Giant Care
The handsome Ajuga Catlins Giant is very easy to grow, perfect for both beginners and expert gardeners alike. Requiring little to no special attention, no pruning required and typically disease and pest free. The Ajuga is best planted in partial shade as long as there is moisture in the soil to prevent scorching foliage.
To keep the Ajuga Catlins Giant thriving and minimise any ground cover congestion we recommend to divide small clumps every two year in autumn and early spring.
