In late spring, early summer the Ajuga Burgundy Glow bears delicious deep blue upright flower spikes adding even more colour to this tasteful mix match coloured plant. During the colder months the Ajuga foliage turns a stunning rich Burgundy colour, hence the name, a real star of any garden.
Ajuga Burgundy Glow
The Ajuga Burgundy Glow is generally disease and pest free and requires no pruning, perfect for a low maintenance garden. To propagate we recommend dividing the plant by separating any rooted stems. The Ajuga Burgundy Glow thrives in a partially shaded location, to prevent scorched foliage but will cope in shade. We have planted ours under trees to form a mat of colour all year round.
Being a good ground cover perennial, we suggest planting on banks or slopes, under trees or in patio containers for lovely all year colour, a good garden plant to have grown!
