Hemerocallis, commonly known as Daylily is an erect, clump forming perennial with long narrow, lance shaped green, arching foliage. In the summer months of June and July it blooms stunning salmon pink open flowers which have pale yellow centres and one central vein on each petal making it look like a star!
Often planted in flower beds and borders or grown in containers for balconies and non grass gardens. Suitable for a variety of planting schemes and a really summer stunner when taken advantage of!
Hemerocallis care
Plant the Hemerocallis Pink Charm in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden which has moist, well drained soils. Being hardy for the UK makes it a perfect plant for the UK garden with summer blooms making it very interesting in the warmer conditions. After flowering, cut back any flower shoots and remove any dead or damaged foliage to encourage a more healthy growth.
