Viburnum Sargentii Onondaga commonly known as Sargent Viburnum is a bushy deciduous shrub which grows into an upright structure. Awarded the RHS award of garden merit for its suitability and excellence for the UK garden gives the seal of approval before buying. This shrub has maple like, three lobed mid green leaves which are a bronze and purple colour when young, turning into a deep purple colour in autumn months, a lovely display. In the months of May and June the Viburnum Sargentii Onondaga will bloom these small lace cap white and creamy coloured flowers surrounding striking purple anthers, contrasting nicely against the foliage. Autumn months can see vibrant red berries appear.
