Trachycarpus Fortunei commonly known as Chusan Palm or the Chinese Windmill Palm, is a bushy, evergreen palm shrub or small tree with long trunks covered in loose fibres and fan shaped, deeply divided dark green leaves, spreading up to 1m wide. From June through to August the Trachycarpus Fortunei blooms large sprays of arching yellow flowers looking beautiful over the foliage. Being awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its general easy to grow and low maintenance nature growing well in a variety of locations.
Can be grown in a variety of locations, even growing well inside in a conservatory or warm glasshouse. Can be grown in containers suiting lots of garden types like city and courtyard gardens. Making a great all round garden plant.
