Taxus Fastigiata, commonly known as Irish Yew is a lovely evergreen, upright conifer garden plant, with dense linear dark green leaves. Becoming broader and more filled out the more established it becomes. The upright, columnar growth means the Taxus Fastigiata creates a beautiful hedge when established and planted in groups. Suiting a variety of garden types with enough room for the Fastigiata to establish. Great for low maintenance hedging and screens.

Plant the Taxus Fastigiata in almost any sunlight location, growing well in full sun to full shade, with moist well drained soils where it will thrive. No regular pruning required makes it a good low maintenance plant suitable for gardeners of all abilities. If required, can be trimmed to maintain the plants structure, but more often than not, this isn’t needed.
