Symphoricarpos X Doorenbosii ‘White Hedge’ commonly known as Snowberry ‘White Hedge’ is a bushy upright, deciduous shrub, with oval shaped, mid green leaves forming a compact bush/screen. In July through to September the Symphoricarpos X Doorenbosii ‘White Hedge’ will bloom small racemes of white flowers, with a slight green tinge to them. Closely followed by white fruits which are very popular with wildlife.
Making a perfect plant for a wildlife planting scheme, or with its compact habit; forms a lovely bright hedge or screen if planted close together. Known to grow well in drought resistant areas, and can even be planted on banks or slopes and still grow well.

The Symphoricarpos X Doorenbosii ‘White Hedge’ is very low maintenance and easy to grow. Accepting any sun conditions from full sun to full shade and almost any soil type from moist, well drained soils to poorly drained it will still grow well. Generally disease and pest free and no pruning required makes the perfect low maintenance garden plant! In late winter, early spring, only if needed, simply remove any dead or damaged branches.
