Penstemon Laura commonly known as Beard Tongue is a pretty, bee loving perennial which has small lance like mid green leaves. In the months from July through to October the Penstemon Laura will produce almost upright stems with stunning trumpet shaped flowers with pure white throats turning to a vivid pink colour to the tips.
Suiting a variety, if not all locations including flower beds and borders, cottage or informal planting schemes, city and coastal gardens and many more, a great garden plant to have in your garden this season.
Penstemon Laura care
Plant the Penstemon Laura in a warm sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. If you are looking to prolong flowering it is recommended to remove the faded blooms. In spring it is advised to lift and divide any of the congested clumps and to help this perennial continue flourishing.
