Plant InformationOsmanthus Delavayi, commonly known as Delavay Osmanthus is a dense, evergreen bushy shrub which has oval shaped dark green leaves across arching branches. In the months of April and May the Osmanthus Delavayi will produce many pure white flower clusters which are highly scented. Closely followed by dark blue, almost black berries. If planted in groups or rows the Osmanthus will form a dense bush/hedging plant perfect for adding privacy to a garden. Otherwise will suit a variety of planting schemes, garden types and locations.
Osmanthus Delavayi care
Plant the Osmanthus Delavayi in a sunny, partially shaded area with moist, well drained soil where it will thrive. A good beginner and expert plant being easy to grow, generally disease and pest free and requiring only some pruning. Remove any dead or damaged branches and any which begin to mishape the plant in late spring.
