Leptospermum Nanum Kiwi, commonly known as Tea Tree is a dwarf, bushy evergreen shrub with a dense dark green, tinged with bronze coloured foliage. In the months of May and June the Leptospermum Nanum Kiwi blooms small but beautiful, freely produced pink flowers which create a lovely colour across the shrub.

A good all rounder, with recommended planting locations including flower beds and borders, wall side borders and can be a great container/potted plant for the balconies and non grassed gardens.

Leptospermum Nanum Kiwi care

Plant the Leptospermum Nanum Kiwi in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden, sheltered from strong winds and with well drained, moist soils where it will thrive. Generally disease and pest free and known to be easy to grow makes the ‘Kiwi’ a good plant for both beginners and expert gardeners alike. Once established this shrub generally wont need any pruning and will form a natural framework although if you need to, in spring cut back any dead or damaged branches to encourage a healthy growth.
