Hypericum Hidcote, commonly known as St Johns wort is a bushy, semi-evergreen shrub which has oval shaped, narrow green leaves. In the months of July through to October the Hypericum Hidcote produces wonderful blooms of cup shaped flowers of golden yellow colour which provides a longer than average season of interest. Seen to be often planted in flower beds and flower borders and also used as ground cover and at the edges of walkways to create increased interest. Can be planted in a variety of garden types.

The Hypericum Hidcote thrives in a sunny, partially shaded location with moist, well drained soil. Generally disease and pest free makes this Hypericum an easy to grow shrub for both beginners and gardening experts alike. Once flowered, lightly prune any shoots which begin to mishape the plants natural symmetry, once pruned apply a generous amount of mulch to the base of the plant which will provide much need nourishment and moisture.
