Known to be a low maintenance, hardy plant makes a good garden plant for both beginners and experts alike. Generally pest free and requiring minimal pruning; simply cut back and remove any dead or damaged branches, or any which begin to mishape the shrub in early spring. Once pruned, apply a generous serving of mulch to the base of the plant.
