Geranium Mavis Simpson, commonly known as ‘Cranesbill’, is a delightful perennial known for its stunning, vibrant blooms and compact, bushy growth habit. This variety features clusters of soft pink flowers with a delicate, scalloped edge, creating a striking contrast against its lush, dark green foliage. The flowers are held above a mound of neatly lobed leaves, which add texture and interest to garden beds, containers, and borders. Geranium ‘Mavis Simpson’ typically grows to a height of 1/2 metre and has a similar spread, making it an excellent choice for smaller garden spaces or as a charming ground cover.

Geranium ‘Mavis Simpson’ is valued for its eye-catching, colourful blooms and its ability to provide long-lasting, vibrant colour in a variety of garden settings.

Geranium Mavis Simpson care

The Geranium Mavis Simpson loves sunny, partially shaded locations with moist, well drained soils. Coping in almost any soil but waterlogged. In mid-summer it is recommended to remove any flowered stems and old, tired leaves to encourage a more healthy growth. Occasionally you may be required to lift and divide colonies to prevent overcrowding and this should be done in spring.
