Forsythia X Intermedia Lynwood Variety care
Plant in a sunny location, or area with dappled shade and moist, well drained soils. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its ease of growth and growing qualities for the UK, makes this a good plant for all abilities. Prune annually after flowering by cutting back any dead or damaged shoots, cutting back to the ground any congested shoots and any young, weak stems so the growth can be concentrated on the good quality, strong growth. Once pruned, put good quality mulch or garden compost at the base of the plant.
