Euphorbia Ascot Rainbow, commonly known as Martins Spurge is a bushy evergreen perennial with stunning coloured foliage. Leaves which are grey/green, when young have a pink and red tinge to them, in the colder weather often the foliage becomes even more tinged with a striking pink colour. In March through to July the Euphorbia Ascot Rainbow produces these wonderful flowers which sit above the colourful foliage. Light green braced which have a red centre show, which add that extra layer of interest to this plant.
A fantastic border or bed perennial which has height and colour (lots of it!) whilst often being planted in planting schemes such as cottage and informal gardens.
Euphorbia Ascot Rainbow care
Plant in a sunny position with well drained soils where it will thrive. In spring we would say to remove any of the flowered stems at the base, after the flowers begin to fade which in turn will encourage new shoots across the plant. Wear gloves when pruning.
