Cornus Kousa Chinensis commonly known as Chinese Dogwood is a large, bushy deciduous shrub which has mid green, oval shaped leaves creating a dense foliage, in autumn these will turn a striking red and orange colour which adds even more interest to this plant. In May and June the Cornus Kousa Chinensis will bloom these showy, creamy white colour flowers, turning a soft pink the older the plant gets.
This Cornus can be grown individually making a pretty specimen shrub where the plant adds that showy interest desired. Can be planted in many locations especially mixed borders and beds where it will guarantee some lovely colour. Suiting many planting schemes and garden types.

Plant the Cornus Kousa Chinensis in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. Generally pest free and low maintenance makes a good choice for beginner and expert gardeners where it will be difficult to do much wrong with this great, all round garden plant. In spring you may need to remove any dead or damaged branches which will encourage a more healthy growth.
