Cornus Contraversa Variegata, commonly known as Wedding Cake Tree is a bushy, deciduous shrub or small tree with broad, oval shaped mid green leaves with a creamy margin turning a stronger yellow in autumn. The structure grows in tiered branches creating a ‘wedding cake’ tiered effect. In June the Cornus Contraversa Variegata will produce clusters of small cream coloured flowers closely followed by dark blue/black berries.
A good all round garden plant which is ideal for low maintenance gardens, suiting a variety of planting schemes, garden types and different locations.
Cornus Contraversa Variegata care

Generally disease and pest free and requiring minimal pruning makes a good garden plant for gardeners of all abilities. Remove any dead or damaged foliage however requires no regular pruning which could effect the tiered look.
