Chaenomeles X Superba Crimson And Gold care

Plant the Chaenomeles X Superba Crimson And Gold in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive, when planting it is good to plant with a good fertiliser in early spring which will promote a strong healthy growth. Known to be generally disease and pest free and only some pruning makes a great plant for both beginner and expert gardeners alike. After flowering light pruning can take place to remove damaged branches or any which mishape the plant from its natural habitat. Hard pruning is best carried out in winter to remove crowded branches to encourage a more healthy growth.
