Ceanothus Autumnal Blue, commonly known as Californian Lilac, is a remarkable evergreen shrub celebrated for its rich, blue flower clusters and lush, dark green foliage. This cultivar produces dense, rounded clusters of vibrant blue flowers from late summer to autumn, extending the flowering season into the autumn when many other plants have finished blooming. The glossy, dark green leaves provide a beautiful backdrop to the striking blooms and maintain their colour throughout the year. Ceanothus ‘Autumnal Blue’ typically grows to a height of 3 metres with a similar spread, making it an excellent choice for garden beds, borders, or as a specimen plant.
