In the months from April through until August it will bloom these erect, bottlebrush like flowers of bright crimson colouring, which look fantastic across the plant. A good all rounder, often planted in beds and borders, wall side borders and even grown in containers where the plant can be grown in non grassed, patio or balcony gardens. Suiting a variety of planting schemes and garden types.

Callistemon Citrinus ‘Splendens’ care

The Callistemon Citrinus ‘Splendens’ thrives in a sunny, warm area of the garden with moist, well drained soils sheltered from strong, cold winds. Some pruning is required, simply prune the younger plants to encourage a bushy healthy growth, with more established plants pruning every 2 or 3 summers simply removing dead and damaged older shoots immediately after flowering.
