Buddleja Davidii Dartmoor also known as ‘Butterfly Bush’, is a striking perennial shrub celebrated for its vibrant, fragrant blooms and its ability to attract butterflies. This cultivar features dense clusters of deep purple flowers with a delightful fragrance, which appear from mid-summer to early autumn. The plant has a graceful, arching habit and is characterised by its long, lance-shaped leaves with a silver-green underside. Buddleja Dartmoor typically grows to a height of up to 4 metres, with a similar spread , making it a versatile choice for adding colour and texture to garden beds, borders, or as a specimen plant.

The Buddleja Davidii Dartmoor thrives in a sunny or partially shaded location with moist, well drained soil. Generally disease free and requires some pruning. In March we would prune back, removing the previous years growth which will encourage more vigorous growth and increase the bloom the following year.
