Astilbe Simplicifolia Sprite commonly known as simply Astilbe, is a dwarf, deciduous, clump forming perennial which has divided, narrow green leaves. In the months of July and August this perennial bears beautiful pale pink feathery panicles which are then followed by attractive seed-heads.
We recommend planting in groups to form more of a dwarf mass, suitable but not limited to flower beds, borders and any garden which has full or partial sunlight.
Astilbe Simplicifolia Sprite care
Generally pest and disease free the Astilbe Simplicifolia Sprite is a great plant for all gardeners of all experience levels. Be sure when planting this garden plant to find a sunny location or partially shaded area with moist soil. Cut the Astilbe plant back, shortly after flowering has ended, and we would recommend dividing the Sprite every three years to maintain a beautiful and strong vigour.
